Due to fatalities that have recently occurred involving the use of swing up stabiliser’s ALLMI has released a new E-Learning Module for Swing-Up Stabiliser Safety.

The E-Learning Module can be accessed free of charge via the following page of the ALLMI website:

Module completion consists of watching ALLMI’s Swing-Up Stabiliser Safety video and then answering a series of related questions.  All questions must be answered correctly and once achieved the user is sent email confirmation of their pass.  This email will contain a QR code, which, when scanned by site staff, will confirm the validity of Module completion.

Whilst we would encourage adoption of this E-Learning for those using any type of swing-up stabiliser legs, please note that from 14th November through to the end of this year, completion of the Module will be a tier one contractor site requirement for Spotters (role explained in the following link) and Operators of lorry loaders that do not meet the tier one contractor acceptance criteria:
