To become an Accredited NPORS centre:
- Register as a Training Provider to offer NPORS Training and Testing
- Include your centre in your Online Provider application
- Ensure adequate facilities like welfare, classroom, training areas, and racking
- Maintain relevant paperwork including First Aid, Fire Safety, machine certification, and maintenance reports
- Pass a formal Centre Audit visit by an NPORS Monitor/Auditor

What is an OTC?
FOR HEALTH & SAFETY TOUCH SCREEN TESTS
Join NPORS today as an OTC with a registered invigilator to allow you to conduct HS&E tests at convenient times for both the centre and the candidate.
It is the responsibility of the OTC and invigilator to ensure that centre requirements are met, and candidates take tests under exam conditions with the invigilator always present. As a registered OTC with NPORS, all relevant HS&E tests can be conducted including Operatives, Supervisor and Managers.
What is an Invigilator? A person responsible for the running of the test.
• This person must follow the ‘Invigilator Code of Conduct’ as set out in the NPORS
Accredited Online Test Centre document.
• Responsible for the running of the test.
• Responsible for check the identity of candidates.
• Responsible for registering the test on NPORS online notification system.
• Must be present at the OTC site visit.
Candidates
• The test aims to verify that operatives possess the necessary Health & Safety knowledge.
Successfully passing the test allows operators to apply for NPORS CSCS registration with the appropriate Plant category or activate the HS&E logo on their NPORS Traditional card.
